AlSi10Mg

Aluminum alloy (AlSi10Mg) is a strong and lightweight material with good thermal properties. It is printed by sintering aluminum powder using a special laser. 3D printed parts from AlSi10Mg are of the same quality as machined models, but it is possible to create much more complicated geometries or various internal channels in parts. 3D printed aluminum does not look like traditional shiny machined aluminum; it has a matte gray surface with a slightly rough appearance. The fine glitter is due to the presence of silicon in the alloy.

Usage / Features

Thanks to the combination of lightness and high strength, this alloy is ideal for applications where strong but lightweight components are needed. The aluminum alloy has excellent thermal properties, making it suitable for applications where heat dissipation is required.
